I had a great stay at Hilton Tampa Downtown. The location is perfect, close to the Riverwalk and many dining options. While the overall experience was wonderful, I did encounter a couple of minor inconveniences with early check-in and the need for room updates. However, the heated pool was a highlight for me, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my visit.

I had a mixed experience at Hilton Tampa Downtown. The location was fantastic, making it super convenient for all the events in the area, but I ran into a significant issue with my room, which didn’t live up to expectations. The staff were friendly and tried to help, but the overall customer service left a lot to be desired, especially after my unfortunate encounter with an unwanted guest—a bed bug.

Rooms

The room I was initially assigned was not well-maintained, and the situation with the bed bug really threw off my stay. However, the beds were comfortable, which is a plus.
Service

While some staff members were nice and attempted to assist me, there were significant gaps in the customer service, especially when addressing my concerns about the bed bug issue.

6.6/10

My stay at Hilton Tampa Downtown had its ups and downs. The location was fantastic, allowing easy access to downtown attractions and dining options. The room was comfortable, with a cozy bed and great shower, but I faced some frustrating issues with the front desk staff. While Daniella stepped in to assist and provided excellent service, it was disappointing that not all staff seemed well-trained. Overall, I enjoyed my stay but felt there were areas that needed improvement.

The service was a mixed bag. Initially, the front desk staff did not provide the guidance I expected, but Daniella's proactive follow-ups made a significant difference during my stay. She was friendly and attentive, making a rough start much better.
Location
9.0
The hotel's location was excellent, close to restaurants and attractions, making it a perfect hub for exploring the area. I appreciated the convenience of the nearby transportation options, including the TECO Line Streetcar.
Dining
7.0
While I enjoyed the food options, including a voucher for dining, I found the pricing a bit steep, especially when dining as a group. I was hoping for more inclusive dining options rather than a la carte pricing.
Facilities

The facilities included a nice outdoor pool area, though some cleanliness issues were noted. The valet service was prompt and friendly, which added to my overall experience.

I had a pleasant stay at the Hilton Tampa Downtown with its central location near attractions like the Riverwalk and Amalie Stadium, although there were a few downsides. The beds were very comfortable, providing me with a good night's sleep, but I found the pillows too soft for my liking. The dining options were somewhat expensive compared to the quality of food, which could be improved. Overall, it was a good experience with some areas needing attention.

The pool area was beautiful, especially at night, and I appreciated the outdoor fire pit for chilling with friends. However, valet parking was on the pricey side, costing $35 per day.
